Celebrating the Summer of Love, EXIT presents 4 festivals in 4 different countries in the region: Sea Star, a new festival in Umag held from 26-27 May at the Stella Maris resort. The next chapter in the EXIT’s Summer of Love 2017 is the Revolution Festival that takes place from 1-3 June in the charming Romanian town of Timisoara. This event was nominated by the European Festival Awards 2016 in two categories, for the Best New Festival and Best Small Festival, Sea Dance, declared by the Lonely Planet for the best beach of Europe, from 13 to 15 July and of course EXIT, an award-winning summer music festival which is held at the Petrovaradin Fortress in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia (5-9 July).
EXIT Festival in 2017 will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love. EXIT will mark some of the most important events from 1967 when the revolutionary Peace Movement began and changed the world forever.
A little less than two months before the Sea Star Festival organizing team has revealed a complete list of performers who will come to the complex Stella Maris. Impressive list is led by headliners The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, Paul Kalkbrenner, Modestep, Pendulum and Dubioza Kolektiv, as well as regional rock and punk artists PipsChips&Videoclips, Fakobolan, Nipplepeople, Umek, Spiller, Petar Dundov, Aney F and Marina Karamarko.
Revolution Festival welcomes over 300 artists to the grounds of the Muzeul Satului in Romania. Since its first edition in 2015, the festival has become one of the country's most popular, and will this year be showcasing the likes of Rudimental, Sigala and Dubfire across seven stages and even more genres. Beyond the music, festival-goers can also expect a host of extra surprises in the interactive art areas, making Revolution Festival a completely unique experience. The organizers behind the famous Shangri-La Hell stage in Glastonbury in collaboration with Revolution Festival will present the zone LUNATICA – "The municipality of of madness", an artistic zone.
The main event of " EXIT’s Summer of Love 2017 " will definitely be a five-day program at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad (from 5 to 9 July). One of the greatest bands of our time The Killers will headline Exit Festival on 5 July 2017. They will play at the colossal Petrovaradin Fortress on newly added Day Zero and lead the bill with Liam Gallagher, Rag'n'Bone Man, Jake Bugg, Hardwell, Paul Kalkbrener, Duke Dumont, Dixon, Jamie Jones and many more previously announced acts for the following four days of the award-winning Serbian festival. The Vegas four will give fans an early glimpse of material from their hugely anticipated new album expected later this year, alongside their greatest hits such are "Mr. Brightside", "Somebody Told Me", "Human", "Runaways" and many more.
One of the world's greatest producers and DJs of all time Fatboy Slim is headed for the stunning Jaz Beach to headline Sea Dance Festival in Montenegro. The wave of global mega-hits like "The Rockafeller Skank", "Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat", "Right Here, Right Now ',' Praise You' and many others will splash the shores of the turquoise cove near the historic town of Budva. The festival punters will have the opportunity to enjoy the journey through the music vortex of funk, house, techno, electro, hip-hop and rock and roll fused into a single, energetic performance brought by the Brighton's finest. Also hailing from EXIT, the iconic No Sleep stage will debut its Adriatic edition at Sea Dance, with billing led by some of the most exciting names in the underground scene Amelie Lens, Denis Horvat, South London Ordnance, Space Dimension Controller, joined by some of the finest regional and loacal artists such as hip-hop trio Bad Copy and Who See from Kotor.
